IM3 has a logo with 3 circle’s in the above of IM3 text. Beside that, text “No Limits” it means IM3 has not a border with consumer’s and all their stakeholders.

The promotion of IM3 in 3 ways, which is in audiovisual,copywriting, audio. Audiovisual which is television, copywriting which is banner, billboard, etc. Audio which is advertising in radio. Advertising in television has a more interesting than advertising in the other media.


The Strategy of Marketing IM3

Strategy marketing of IM3 more dominant use Pull strategy. IM3 before throw out the new product advertisement to society so that the people want to know the new product in detail and directly request of product will increase. Beside that, IM3 also use Push strategy as marketing strategy.
Example in launching product or new promotion way, IM3 always show new interesting advertising and make people have a curiosity. IM3 also use push strategy as their strategy marketing. It can knowing through advertising, the promotion through pulse of agen’s and pulse counter’s
I think the pull strategy in IM3 is good. We can see from the increase of member IM3, beside that the sales product/promotion has good response from the society.

I have suggestion for IM3 to be more is paying attention of Strategy CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility) because by doing CSR, company will be able to make good imej and product which on the market will be able to more accepted.

CUSTOMER SEGMENTATION & BEHAVIOR OF IM3

Costumer of IM3 think the rate of pulse IM3 is cheap than average rate in Indonesia. Beside the price, product of IM3 had a complete menu or fiture than the other provider, example the fiture are i-menu, i-chat, and ce es an. The customer choose product of IM3 influenced by her environment, the most influenced is by friends. But sometimes they influenced by the advertising in mass media. Usually the customers of IM3 buy the product in nearby kiosk, because the product of IM3 had spread in Indonesia. The knowledge customer about IM3 product is good, because almost customers knew the product in many media, like television, radio, newspaper, billboard, etc. With running of time, they influenced then they will try the new product of IM3. The customer have motivation to buy a product of IM3, the main motivation is they need of pulse with cheap rate to call and sms than the other, the secondary motivation is they want provider which have wide coverage and clear when they call.

• Regional: Indonesia
• Population density: over 2 million people
• Population growth rate: 10% / year

Demographic segmentation:
• Age: 15 – 38 years old
• Gender: male and female
• Ethnicity: all ethnic in Indonesia
• Education: min junior high school
• Occupation: all but the main is students
• Income: Rp 500.000 – Rp 2.000.000

I think the main target marketing of IM3 is young people/ teenagers because many fiture of IM3 use for young people/ teenagers. The packaging is suitable with the teenagers which is the target market, because the color packaging is so colorful, between yellow, green and orange, favorite color in trend mode right now. The product of IM3 is easy to get in everywhere in all city in Indonesia, in customer neighborhood, place education, mall, kiosk. The distribution of IM3 is easy until to end user, from Indosat to pulse distribution, pulse agent then customer. The advertisement of IM3 is right in target market who is teenagers, the advertisement use teenager icon there are Asmirandah and Adli Fairuz, I think appropriate with teenagers right now. Besides the actor and actress, the advertisement in television stimulus our customer creativity and give they prize.

Finally, I think the targeted market of IM3 is already suitable, the most target market of IM3 is teenager because population teenager in Indonesia is high. I would also give suggestion to IM3 for improving the quality of service and repair the system with a new technology. If they do it, I think their customer will have loyalty brand and IM3 will get many customer in the future.

The compare with competitor (Simpati)Simpati only have 1 kind of pulse. In IM3 there are 2 kind of pulse.
Cost call Rp 0,5 to another operator. With IM3, the cost only Rp 0,1 to another operator.
Cost sms Rp 150 to another operator. In IM3, sms less from Rp 150 to another operator.
Cost setting GPRS Rp 250/message. It’s free when you setting GPRS.

In my opinion IM3 have cheap cost sms and call than Simpati. Also, have many interest fitures. So, how about my description above. Are you have IM3 card right now? If you don’t have IM3 card, I suggestion to buy IM3 card right now….

Introduction of Myself

My name is Aditya Wardana, i was born on 1st July 1988 in Surabaya. My name have a meaning, my mom said that “Ad” meaning Ahmad who is my Grandfather, “Tya” meaning the last name my father and my Grandmother too, “Wardana” meaning flower in language of Arab. I have an special characteristics in my body, my height is 172 cm, my weight is around 56 kg, I also have a big ears but i am not shy, I think it’s a gift from God. I have small family, one mother, one father, one sister. My mother is house wife previously she became a teacher, my father is a state employee until now, my sister is a student in a state university. When I was child, I lived in Ampel, near with grave of Sunan Ampel. When I was in second grade Elementary School, I moved from Ampel to Kedurus. When I was child, I dreamed to become a player football in Indonesia League but my dreamed not come true. When I was child, I am included naughty child in my district. But today, I became good teenage, shy teenage sometimes, not arrogant, respectful, and helpful. I also included a boy which like sports, like football, badminton, swimming, running, basketball, etc. Im not kids with many academic title, but when I was Elementary School, my team won Boy scout championship. I are proud enough with that thing even after that I am not won a championship again. In my life, I only traveled in eight city’s there are Malang, Yogyakarta, Bali, Kediri, Tulungagung, Blitar, Gresik, Sidoarjo. Someday, I want to see all city in Indonesia no matter big city or small city because we live once on time. Until the end of junior high school, my body still short than my friend usually. But my habited which always swim every week, making my body turn into highly. Then, every my friend ex-junior high school surprised saw my body turn into highly. I don’t know how it is happened to me but I believed that my hormone worked slowly than my friend usually. Even my body turn into highly but I still thin, of course not really too thin and I thought that my hormone worked slowly again. But it is not a big problem for me, I am grateful very well to God with my body. During the time, I have a lot of friend since Elementary School, Junior High School, Senior High School and now in State Polytechnic of Malang. Many of my friend like me because they thought I am is very interest boy, my joke that I said, or ridiculousness of me. But I also accept any criticism from my friend to me and it is make me to be better again. I also not forgotten with my teachers which have taught I. they have a big merits for me, from my teachers in Elementary School until in Senior High School. Sometimes, they are angry with the me but they did for my good too. Thanks for the teachers in the world, for your all merits for the world.
